AND…ONCE WE FIND THEM,
WHAT DO WE DO ABOUT THEM?
For about 49 years, learning about health and nutrition has absorbed me, much as I enjoy being absorbed in a good mystery. I would love to have you join me in looking at some health information from the vantage of a “nutrition detective”.
My husband, Al, recently showed me a Wellness Newsletter that his former employer sent to retirees. We read an article that is entitled, CANCER: Control Your Risk Factors, and when we finished we agreed that there was some very good …

Whooeee!     What A Ride!
A little over 40 years ago, I had a significant awakening. I was in my 30s, mother of five and intent of caring for my family’s health. I was a firm believer in “doctor knows best.” I was also a good customer to our friendly druggist – who was a wonderful person -, and I was an “expert consumer” of antihistamines for my daily allergies. I received this email yesterday and was so disturbed that I felt I had to print it in my blog.  This is something that everyone who uses vitamins must be aware of.   I always try to make sure that when I post something that has negative connotations, I always include some possible alternatives and I have done so here as well.
I hope this helps us to be more diligent in our choice of food supplement manufacturers and that if you …

http://www.naturalnews.com/025768_cancer_mammograms.html
For nearly forty years I have chosen to use natural nutritional ways of healing and prevention rather than use medical procedures unless absolutely essential.  Thus far, my studies about nutrition have stood me in great stead as the only times I have had to resort to the services of a doctor are two different times when I fell and broke a wrist.   As I became aware of the use of mammography I wanted to know more about it.  Because of what I learned at least 20 years ago I made …
