Who We Are
We are both 70+ years young and in the best health of our lives!
Al & I are in our young 70’s. We celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary this year with a renewed commitment to get younger even as we accumulate more years.
We both grew up in San Diego, CA. Al got there at age 11 coming from Louisville, KY, and I got there at age 3 from San Francisco.
Our backgrounds are very different. My folks were entrepreneurial and into the arts to a large degree so I had lessons in piano, all kinds of dancing and acting. I loved it and planned to be an opera singer so I could combine my high soprano voice with the other parts of theater that I so enjoyed.
As it happened, I ended up taking a different path and I joined the Air Force at age 18, married, and had 3 wonderful children. Then the divorce. Back to San Diego, where about 2 years later, I met Al.
Al’s parents were salt of the Earth wonderful people. Both of them loved music and Al played the clarinet & his brother played the violin and piano. His Dad was an extremely intelligent man who worked as a letter carrier and because of his family responsibilities, he never had the chance to reach his full potential. His Mother was a
traditional stay at home Mom who raised two wonderful sons and I got one of them!
We married. He adopted my three children, and then we had two more. (Whew! We finally figured out what caused it and we stopped at five!) He was and is a fantastic husband and father! To the right is a picture of Al’s parents at the time of their 50th wedding anniversary
We lived in a little town in north San Diego County called Poway. Both of our youngest children were born right there in the house we lived in.
Then, Al was offered an opportunity to go back to grad school, where he could receive his doctorate. His job paid all of the expenses and continued to pay his salary since the courses were also to their advantage. We moved up to Claremont, CA where he attended Claremont Graduate School. We had a wonderful year in that quaint little community. Then, back to San Diego for a few more years .
That is when I became aware of the problems of water and air pollution and I realized that I should stop being part of the problem and become part of the solution!
I learned natural ways to clean my home using truly environmentally friendly products that worked even better than the store bought toxic chemical cleaners. I developed a real understanding of how to take care of our bodies naturally, and made a commitment to a life style that enhances health.
I gained an understanding of how we must protect and preserve our environment ourselves if we want to have a better shot at lifelong health. I was also found that I could care for our family’s health without having to use the toxic chemicals and drugs once thought were necessary!
Just think…5 kids, and once we made the necessary changes in our lifestyles, no cold or flu ever dared to go through OUR family again! REALLY! I learned a lot and became passionate about helping others to find the same benefits that I had found.
Eventually Al changed jobs and we moved to San Bernardino, where we lived for over 30 years. When Al retired from working on the Space Shuttle program, we were ready to get away from all the smog, freeways and the urban lifestyle.
Now we live in a really beautiful small mountain town in Northern CA, called Paradise. It is! How nice it is that we can run our business from home no matter where we live.
Fortunately, all four of our five kids live in California so it isn’t too hard to get to see them. The other one is in Seattle. He and his wife usually get here at least once a year and some times even twice.
Here is one daughter her husband, our grandchildren and their spouses and fiance’s more pics of the others coming soon!

Now that you are here, I’m looking forward to sharing the wealth of information that I have accumulated over the years about how we, as women, can care for ourselves, our families, and our environment through the optimal use of nutritional supplements and by developing a health minded lifestyle that supports us at every stage of our lives.
